Oct 17, 7:00PM PTSA Town Hall Meeting in the EHS library (This program will introduce new EHS parents to Mr. Flynn, EHS principal, and his administrative team and Jason Kaylor, our EHS activities director. Parents will learn about the Aeries system as well as activities and academic goals for 2007-2008. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions you have about EHS. Translation in Spanish, and possibly other languages will be available.)

Our new program this year
is a series of parent nights called 2007-2008 Aztec University. This series has been designed to give parents more information about the college admission process. The programs begin at 7:00 PM and the schedule is as follows:

*CSU/UC Admissions Night - 10/3 (a program for parents of sophomores, juniors, and seniors on the CSU/UC admissions with EHS grads offering their perspectives on the process) at the Forum theater (site of the new YL High School)

*Financial Aid Night - 10/24 (seniors) EHS library

*Community College Night - 11/7 (seniors) EHS library

*FAFSA Night - 1/9 (seniors) EHS library

*College Entrance Testing - 2/13 (information about the various college admission tests and the new writing section for sophomore, junior, and senior parents) TBA

*Health/Wellness Night - 3/12 (to include suicide prevention info for all grades) the Forum theater (site of the new YL HS)

*College Basics Night - 5/14 (a program for parents of freshmen and sophomore parents scattergrams, preparing for college, essay writing, college search) the Forum theater (site of the new YLHS).
